My prayer partners and I pray every day. The following is a prayer we posted for today. Dear Heavenly Father, We come before you today, lifting up our elected officials in prayer. We ask that you guide them with wisdom and discernment as they make decisions that affect our nation and its people. Lord, we pray that they would be mindful of the weight of their words. May they remember that every idle word they speak will be accounted for on the day of judgment. May they be careful to speak truth, justice, and compassion, and may their words bring life and hope to those they serve. We pray that you would give them the wisdom to use their words to build up and not to tear down. May their words be seasoned with grace and kindness, and may they always seek to glorify you in all they say and do. As it is written in your word, "by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." May our elected officials speak words that bring acquittal, words that bring healing, words that bring hope, and words that bring glory to your name. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the ultimate judge and ruler of all. May His wisdom, justice, and mercy guide our leaders and may they seek to honor Him in all they do. Amen. I pray and fast in agreement with HJR 803 for the Lord God Almighty to activate His heavenly forces and all spiritual agents to war against all opposing forces. Whether it's corrupt/reprobate governmental entities; corrupt law enforcement, and legal officials, overt and covert crime syndicates, corrupt/reprobate school systems and authorities, child abuse and neglect, and corrupt/reprobate church officials; God's will be done. Thank you for this bill and all your efforts to make this happen! I attended the prayer by Representative Monty Fritts and local Pastors at the Courthouse in Jonesborough TN! Then attended the East TN Freedom meeting at Calvary Chapel Church where he spoke and this man definitely has the Holy Spirit within him! So thankful! Praying for him and other leaders that are taking a stand and being bold in their faith!

Prayer works and prayer changes things, and fasting has been referred to as the Christian’s secret weapon. With the two coupled together, prayer and fasting, they become a powerful force against the tide of evil in our land. God has promised to forgive our sins and heal our land when we humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face and repent of our sins.

It is so wonderful that the legislature of Tennessee has passed Resolution 803. I pray for Tennessee and for all of our states to join forces asking for our repentance and for God's blessing on the great state of Tennessee and the United States of America. God Bless you!

Prayer for Tennessee Day 20

Dear Lord, we come before you with gratitude and humility to thank you for the opportunity to gather together at Blount County's Courthouse War Dead Memorial for a solemn time of prayer and repentance. We praise you for the leaders, pastors, and citizens who led us in prayer. We ask that you abundantly bless Representative Monty Fritz, who drafted House Joint Resolution 803, calling the State of Tennessee into a time of prayer and fasting for the month of July (2 Chronicles 7:14). Give him strength, favor, and energy as he continues to meet with Christians who assemble and pray in all 95 Tennessee counties during this month. We feel grateful for the unity and fellowship we experienced as we prayed with one mind and one heart, offering prayers of praise, repentance, spiritual warfare, intercession, and petition (Philippians 2:2). We thank you for protecting us under the shadow of your wing, keeping us safe from harm or harassment, and even shielding us from the hot sun and rain (Psalm 91:1-4). May your righteousness and justice roll down like a mighty river, bringing transformation to our state and its people, as you have promised in Amos 5:24. Awaken Tennessean Christians to our responsibility to be salt and light, shining your love and truth in the midst of darkness and despair (Matthew 5:13-16). May we be faithful to our calling, proclaiming you truth and love to a world in need. Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your promise to bless those who call upon your name (Psalm 91:15). We trust Tennessee will shine like a beacon of hope and faith, to showcase your glory to the world. We pray that our state will continue to be a place where your people can live in freedom, peace, and harmony, and where we honor and glorify your name. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Thanks again for all the hard work concerning this Bill and subsequent prayer rallies. My wife and I were blessed to participate in the Blount County rally. My only critique was the noticeable absence in the bill and the rally of repentance over abortion. For almost 50 years, our state allowed the murder of innocent human lives and it continues through abortifacients. How could God ever bless a State or Country that fails to repent over such wickedness? Blessings,

Our church, Calvary Knoxville, a Calvary Chapel in Knoxville has passed out the bill in total and has urged us as a congregation to pray and fast daily as well as to sign up to pray around the clock. My husband and I pray regularly for our state and I and my workplace are praying as well. I hope that this becomes more than a month of focused prayer for our nation and our state but becomes part of the fabric of every Tennessean. My husband and I are praying, and our church is gathering to pray every Monday at noon during the month of July. I am very encouraged by this proclamation and the movement toward the Lord Almighty in humble prayer.

Praying without ceasing for our country.

Praying for Tennessee and for our Governor, Representatives, Senators and all their staff members!

I have been committed to regularly praying for the State of Tennessee and its elected officials since I have lived here ... because the BIBLE tells us so! I am excited to know that these same elected officials have committed to prayer as well. This is absolutely beautiful, and I am grateful to live in this great state.

My Sunday School class had been praying and fasting this month for the state of Tennessee.

Praying and declaring with you that Almighty God heals our land… knowing that He is faithful and has called us to the Kingdom for such a time as this. I thank you and pray for all of you who are leading this effort … Grace and peace to you all in the name of Jesus!

Praying for Tennessee and all the counties. I live in Blount county. Praying for unity and submission to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for he is the way, the truth, and the life. Praying for myself to give God more time and to show his live and tell of his goodness. Praying for protection, for our state to put on the whole armor of God.
